The 7th T20 Cricket World Cup, the ICC Men's Cricket T20 World Cup 2021, will take place in the UAE and Oman from October 17 through November 14, 2021. The competition was originally scheduled to take place in Australia from October 18 to November 15, 2020 according to world cup schedule 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC), caused the event to be postponed to 2021 in July 2020.
